you say i don't have to worry about stuff like this. we're both the same, look at you, look at her, we don't have that and we're happy. and i'll smile and nod, say it makes sense, when actually i know we're Not the same, and you Do have that or at least you're about to get it.and look at you now. you've got it and it feels great doesn't it? that's why you'll never understand how i feel. You'll never understand what it's like to want something so bad, and all you can do is dream of when your time will come, not knowing when it will come, and being terrified, the longer you wait, that it's Never gonna come. you'll never understand the fear, or the loneliness. The irrational pain that's self-inflicted, the same excuse used over and over to try and protect yourself, but really, it never works.
How is it that people who have never really shown any sign of want or care for something get it so easily? And those who would die for it can barely even touch it with their fingertips?
Why must life work so unfairly?

Jealousy, it's possibly the worst emotion to have, ever.

I don't know why this suddenly came on.

Apprehensive Anticipatory

went to the Singapore Poly openhouse with Jonathan today.
i like that place, i would consider it, though it's really FAR.

headed to OtakuHouse at Iluma after that, officially my new Happy Place.
met up with Terence and Shih Eng there.
Bought Itachi's headband and his Akatsuki ring(actually ah jon bought for me, thank you so much:D) as well as Ed's State Alchemist pocketwatch:D
am very happy, though now i totally regret not buying Tsunade's necklace. shall buy next time.
if only cosplay costumes weren't so expensive.
bahahaha.

Results out on Monday.
4 more days.
hooooooooo.

tomorrow i have to go to work at dad's office without him there cos parents are going to KL, but that's fine, cos i pretty much just commmunicate with only one other person there.

As Results Day approaches, i realise a few things.
just that im so afraid of my results, i don't think that this day's importance has fully sunk in yet, but i can't wait to get it over and done with, then plunge into the New Year with all the gusto i can muster.

2010 looks to be a promising and eventful year. at least that's what im hoping for.

im happy with how i've grown and changed over the past years but still, i feel like it's not enough, and i have the potential for So Much More.

I can't just wait for stuff to happen, i have to make them happen.
im sick of feeling like im left in a place that's neither here nor there.

I want something new, something interesting, something that i can truly say i love with all my heart.

I don't want to feel empty anymore.

i am so scared right now.
but in a way i can't wait for it because it means we'll know approximately where we're headed and then school will start and we'll get to meet new people and do new stuff and that will be AWESOME.

i am Sick of being stuck at home and broke.
currently working at dad's office right now, but honestly, i would die for a job elsewhere that does not involve office work cos it's Boring As Hell.
so if anybody has something to recommend, i would very much appreciate it.

Hellooooo 2010

Spent new year's eve with Vanessa.
no Cheryl(cos she's in Aussie) and Marcus(abandoned usD:) so it was just us 2.

Before the Countdown:
Pigging out on chocolate, dying my hair, showering in the dark and watching a little OC like a silent movie cos of electricity tripping.

Followed the countdown on tv, scrambling to send new year's messages in time, then running ouy to scream "HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2010 IS OUR BITCH!!"

also realised that alcohol generally makes her face and ears hot/red pretty easily.
lol.

New Year's Resolutions:

1.Manage money well so i don't go broke.

2.Work hard in whatever new school i go to.

3.And have fun doing it.

4.Do new stuff and go to new places.

5.Find that missing thing i've been searching for.

such is the popularity of twilight that there's a My Life Is Twilight as well.

New Moon(with meiyen again) was...much better than Twilight production-wise.
i think they overdid it on the lipstick with Edward but there was definite improvement on the makeup.
loved the action.
and there's nothing stopping me watching it again. (cept for lack of $$$ but i should have a job by then:\)

the ending was... sudden.
everyone in the cinema had about the same reaction. lol.

can't wait for shimin to get back from malaysia so the group can watch the movie together and analyse it like the fangirls that we are.

this is way overdue, buuuut
Quick summary on prom:
It was fun, better than expected, and i really regretted dancing in my killer heels.
Yuan Xiu had to go home straight after):, then me shi min and yinghui went off to Kbox after deliberating for abit. Kaixuan joined us later.Yinghui cabbed home at 1plus and us 3 went on adventure through the dark dark park homeward, me and ah min barefoot most of the way while ah xuan repeatedly asked her if she wanted to wear his shoes. Why did we not cab home? cos we wanted to save money:D

took a few videos which i may upload some other day.
reached home at almost 3am. Awesomeness.

Going full out on Restaurant City and (not as much)Country Story and started on Gossip Girl which is pretty awesomee.
coudn't help but compare it to the OC which im watching again from start to end(at season 2 now) thanks to miss Vanessa Yee who planted the idea in my head.

all i gotta say is i love Orange County but the Upper East Side is something new and refreshing.

watched Gokusen today with meiyen and im damn disappointed matsujun didn't come back to at least cameo in it or something.
bought new star-shaped ear studs. they're a little big but still, im happy with them(:

for me it just felt exactly like someone shot something through my earlobe(which is exactly what it was la) and if it had been drawn out it would have hurt like hell but it was really fast so it was ok. the suddenness kinda shocked me though.

i sound really blah now but im damn happy i finally got ear studs, though i won't be ale to change it for prom cos i have to leave it on for at least 2 weeks.
just that the experience made me realise that my contemplation of getting a tongue piercing will probably never happen, ever:\

anyways i found this quite a while ago but im posting it now.

Random Thoughts
-More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can
think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell
my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves
me.

-Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you
realize you're wrong.

-I don't understand the purpose of the line, "I don't need to drink to
have fun." Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and
sticks when they've invented the lighter?

-Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you're
going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to
be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the
direction from which you came, you have to first do something like
check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to
yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you're
crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.

-I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

-Is it just me, or are 80% of the people in the "people you may know"
feature on Facebook people that I do know, but I deliberately choose
not to be friends with?

-Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't
work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically
fix the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all
know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards
or FAQ's. We just figured it out. Today's kids are soft.

-There is a great need for sarcasm font.

-Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and
suddenly realize I had no idea what the f was going on when I first
saw it. (so true. HAHA.)

-I think everyone has a movie that they love so much, it actually
becomes stressful to watch it with other people. I'll end up wasting
90 minutes shiftily glancing around to confirm that everyone's
laughing at the right parts, then making sure I laugh just a little
bit harder (and a millisecond earlier) to prove that I'm still the
only one who really, really gets it.

-How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

-I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than
take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

- I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear
your computer history if you die.

-The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to
finish a text.

- A recent study has shown that playing beer pong contributes to the
spread of mono and the flu. Yeah, if you suck at it.

- LOL has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing else to say".

- I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

- Answering the same letter three times or more in a row on a Scantron
test is absolutely petrifying.

- Whenever someone says "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart",
all I hear is "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart".

- How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod
and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?

- I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars teams up
to prevent a dick from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers!

- Every time I have to spell a word over the phone using 'as in'
examples, I will undoubtedly draw a blank and sound like a complete
idiot. Today I had to spell my boss's last name to an attorney and
said "Yes that's G as in...(10 second lapse)..ummm...Goonies"

-What would happen if I hired two private investigators to follow each other?

- While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and
i nstinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.

- MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I
know how to get out of my neighborhood.

- Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the
person died.

-Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty,
and you can wear them forever.

-I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

- Bad decisions make good stories

-Whenever I'm Facebook stalking someone and I find out that their
profile is public I feel like a kid on Christmas morning who just got
the Red Ryder BB gun that I always wanted. 546 pictures? Don't mind if
I do!

- Is it just me or do high school girls get sluttier & sluttier every year?

-Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go
around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly
nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be
a problem....

-You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work
when you've made up your mind that you just aren't doing anything
productive for the rest of the day.

-Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I don't
want to have to restart my collection.

-There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are
going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

-I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me
if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I
swear I did not make any changes to.

- "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this ever.

-I hate being the one with the remote in a room full of people
watching TV. There's so much pressure. 'I love this show, but will
they judge me if I keep it on? I bet everyone is wishing we weren't
watching this. It's only a matter of time before they all get up and
leave the room. Will we still be friends after this?'

-I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello?
Dammit!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and
goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone
and run away?

- I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not
seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

-When I meet a new girl, I'm terrified of mentioning something she
hasn't already told me but that I have learned from some light
internet stalking.

-I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it's on shuffle,
then I like about one in every fifteen songs in my iTunes.

-Why is a school zone 20 mph? That seems like the optimal cruising
speed for pedophiles...

- As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers,
but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate cyclists.

-Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still
not know what time it is.

-It should probably be called Unplanned Parenthood.

-I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to
answer when they call.

-Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car
keys in a pocket, hitting the G-spot, and Pinning the Tail on the
Donkey - but I’d bet my ass everyone can find and push the Snooze
button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time
every time...

-My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "Dad what would
happen if you ran over a ninja?" How the hell do I respond to that?

-It really pisses me off when I want to read a story on CNN.com and
the link takes me to a video instead of text.

-I wonder if cops ever get pissed off at the fact that everyone they
drive behind obeys the speed limit.

-I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

it occurred to me today while i was doing my chinese prelim paper that after prelims are over there's no break, no WOOOOO WE'RE FREEEEEEEEE thing which is usually the case after end of year exams.

not that i wasn't aware of this before but the whole reality of it just suddenly struck me.

we don't even have a break during the september hols cos i have lessons EVERY SINGLE DAY.
and even if i don't i should be studying.

i am FREAKING OUT omg.

Thank God for the (effing short)weekends.

funny how it's pretty much human nature to know what's bad for them but they still go ahead and do it anyway.

A strawberry avalanche crash over me

it's 9.30 and i haven't eaten my dinner cos i was too pissed to eat earlier.
pissed over what, i don't know.

now my pattern is:
come home from school,
go to room,
turn on fan to maximum,
pass out on bed.

wake up at 7+.
eat dinner/watch tv.
shower.
stone/do homework.
sleep.

i haven't touched the computer in a while.
which is a good thing.
but my tv viewing has increased.
should just go kill myself since im going flunk my Os to hell.

people seem to be falling sick more lately.
wish my immune system wasn't so bloody strong.
then at least i could stay home and have the time to catch up on some studying.
i really hope i don't burn out, cos it feels like im gonna, and im not even working as hard as i should be.

reading was pretty good, conversation was screwed up cos i didn't know how to translate my points from english to chinese and i kept blanking out so i was like err, ahh...-.-

and i fell TWICE during shuttle run for PE.

kept referring to kaixuan as Mr Pink cos he was wearing pink. lol.

went to the national library at bugis but got kicked out cos they discriminate against books and studying-.-
since i have never been there i seized the chance to check out Iluma shopping mall.
went to coffeebean but studying's not allowed there so we were reduced to sitting at these free seats outside the shops.

i think, once i manage to get my bum off my bed and to my my desk chair, that i actually like studying.
im just too damned lazy to start without any motivation.

english and ss on thursday was ...ooook.
i could either do pretty well or really badly for both, since english was NOT easy and i mostly wrote rubbish for the SBQs in ss.

took advantage of the holiday yesterday to gather for a study session at mac's with kaixuan, yuan xiu and shimin.
after that we went to yuan xiu's house and studied some more, then we dug out her set of Taboo:D
it's seriously a fun game. i especially enjoyed squeezing the squeaker thingy in their faces. LOL.

i have concluded that it's better for groups to study at public places.
that way because you have to have consideration for the public, you need to be quiet and not make loud noises, and therefore you can concentrate on work better.

maths and chinese on monday. gahhh.
im going to spend some time on the computer, then off to study(which i am looking forward to, OMGsoweird) then from 6-ish onwards i'll be watching tv. and maybe i'll study somemore if im not too tired.
and on sunday, besides church and guitar class im going to stay home and MUGG.

yesterday was Kaixuan's birthday!
now he's old like me.
HAHA.

i keep telling him im going to smash a cake in his face.
seriously though, i have never smashed a cake in anybody's face before!

me shimin yuan xiu and her sisters went to the library to do homework yesterday.
(and i didn't get much done. as always.)
was crapping with kaixuan via sms.
i was telling him i needed a sugar rush cos i couldn't concentrate and yuanxiu told me kai en took a packet of sugar from mcdonald's and poured the whole thing into his mouth0.o
crazy guy.

neways i told kaixuan to go buy starbucks for me but i had no idea where he was and i wasn't serious la.
then he called my phone cos his sms was going to explode but then suddenly hung up.
a few minutes later a paperbag with this really nice drink from the library cafe was thrust into my face.
he bought a drink for me!! and refused to tell me the price so i can't pay him back.
so nice right! it's his birthday somemore!

after he came i think we(fine I)just gave up on doing the homework already.
we made fun of various things like kaixuan's height, shi min and yuan xiu's intelligence, and shimin's strength.(or lack thereof)lol.

then we wasted some money on some lousy scoop machines(or whatever you call them) at the neoprint shop.wanted to take some neoprints but they were either out of order or occupied. so we went over to the arcade.

i made it to chapter 3 on House of the Dead 4! first time leh!!! i managed to kill the stage 2 boss on my own ok!! i only stopped cos shimin had to go meet her mum for dinner and i didn't want to continue alone. yuanxiu and kaixuan left already by that time. haha.

i was thinking about my oral.
i screwed it up la, definitely.

yesterday was pretty fun.
me,shimin,yuanxiu,kaixuan,jonathan and kok kai en went to the library to "study".
in the end the only people who actually made any progress was yuan xiu and shimin-.-
i ended up doing 1 question for emath homework(which i havent finished) then mostly spent the rest of the time playing DJmax on jonathan's psp.
ahhhhh.
then afterwards jonathan and kaixuan wanted to come to my house cos kaixuan never saw my house before-.-
kai en left earlier, shimin and yuan xiu had to go home.
so we bought mac's home.

it's damn funny la, when people come to my house at night.
i might as well be living in a haunted house, they are so scared:D
we watched part of kungfu hustle and played daidi.
all of us lost at least once, hehe.

oh, and i had a sort of heart-to-heart talk with kaixuan.
made me realise a lot of things.

we were in this really tall building.

hm.
attended a wedding banquet with my sister and kenny(her bf) today.
it was the wedding of my grand uncle's son.
whom i don't really know personally.
some of my other relatives were there also.

then my godmum/aunt was commenting on how it was pretty quiet.
and not to bring down the couple's happiness la, but in all honesty it was one of the most boring weddings i have ever attended.

and i was also wondering why in the world would you want to invite people you hardly knew existed to your own wedding??
i mean you get congratulations and all, but do they actually give a shit, considering they don't really know you?

during the part where everybody is supposed to toast the bride and groom, the only people going YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SENG! were the people on stage(basically the immediate family) and scattered tables with people who were most likely their close friends.

i have therefore resolved that for my future wedding, i will only invite my friends and family and my parents won't be allowed to invite people i had no idea existed, distant relative or not.

kay a quick discovery.
there's this function on Youtube where when you post comments it allows you to listen to an audio preview of whatever you typed.
it's basically just this generated voice where it sounds all monotonous and stuff.

imagine what it would sound like when you type something like 'gahh',or 'haha' or even 'lol'.

and just a random thought, how do most people pronounce 'lol'?
do they spell it out, "L-O-L"?
or do they simply say "LAWL"?
i use both.
oh but wait.
does anyone besides me actually say 'lol' out loud?
yes, i use it during conversation.
hmm.

i wanna watch Madagascar 2.
oh, and if i don't start on my homework before december, i will never finish it and the teachers will kill me and i'll fail my O'levels.

went to the library to do homework with yuan xiu and kaixuan today.
i asked kaixuan whether he could watch the coffin, and he said he already watched it and it wasn't nice. Not scary one.
hmm. a guy's definition of Scary and my definition would be very different i believe.
and i was wondering why no guys could watch.
and yuanxiu mentioned that jonathan got hand foot mouth disease.
wth.

then kaixuan happened to mention taylor's wardrobe malfunction in HSM3.
which yuanxiu didnt notice lol.
and i happened to notice that the woman sitting in front of us had her legs, ahem, pretty wide open.
and she was wearing a DRESS for gosh sakes.
hey, it's not my fault she doesn't observe social etiquette.
and when we heard a china accent whike she was on the phone...

kaixuan left early, then me and yuan xiu didn't feel like doing homework anymore:D
so we hung around the arcade and neoprint shop but didnt actually play anything.
i was considering playing the drumming game but decided not to.

then we walked over to the DVD shop and Camp Rock was playing so we watched it.
she lost interest after a while buti made her watch it with me(:

i seem to be having the WEIRDEST dreams lately.
i always have weird dreams but whatever.
my dream last night:

i was having this GORY, BLOODY, VIOLENT and VICIOUS fight with a guy who looked like a Spartan from 300.
and guess where we were having this fight?
in my BATHROOM SHOWER CUBICLE.
imagine how cramped that is.
and we were STABBING each other with whatever our hands could grab.
and the feel of stabbing someone(in my dream/nightmare anyway) is a very disturbing feeling.
VERY disturbing.
so yeah i was so scared that he was going to kill me, but i managed to give him the final stab instead.
the funny thing is there was actually some humour(at least to me) in my dream/nightmare.
(no pun intended)
i was going to stab him in the heart so i stabbed his right side.
then i realised that's not right, your heart's on your left side isn't it?
so then i stabbed his left side.
and i don't remember him dying but i remember him being defeated.
it was a very VIVID dream.

i really don't know why i had it, it's not like i ever watched 300 or even Meet the Spartans.

Friday Oct 31
was a looong day.

Last day of school(FINALLY) and then i had to got for a dental appointment 3.15.
i was still late by 10 min or something.
Sigh.
anyway.
the things we go through for beauty.
and it's a good thing dentists aren't mind readers.
hoho.

went to the airport for dinner with the con3F people at 8pm.
or more like Felicia, Ricardo, Lynn and Sachsha. then Daryl joined us at 9+.
dinner at Fish & Co. was...entertaining:D
Ricardo said grace.

bless the mouths that will eat this food,
and may we not get fat from this food."

something like that. LOL.
there were like 3 people having birthday celebrations there.
2 adults and 1 kid.
and the Fish & Co. crew sang this special birthday song for them.
the adults were embarrassed. haha.

reached home at 11+.
was freakin tired.

i have mio TV!
which means i can watch OKTO!!!
WOOHOO.
yeah.
we need to buy some channels.

fiona told us about this game called Hotel 626.
we didn't have a chance to try it today, but it's really freaky.
ahhh.

im going to watch videos of it on youtube and freak myself out now.

i can't stand channel 8 dramas anymore.
they are so...unappealing(~~ANNOYING~~).
i kind of wish the computer was back in my room.
then i wouldn't have to compete with the sound of the tv.
but then it wouldn't be good for my studies.
not that i really study but... next year is O'LEVEL YEAR.
BAH.
i realise however, that without cable there really isn't anything good on tv anymore.
and free-to-air tv is S.L.O.W.
channel U is showing Corner with Love starting next week.
most people already finished that show EONS ago-.-

so i've decided to post while waiting for episode 9 of Hana Yori Dango to load fully.
for some reason i can't fast forward on veohtv ):

so just to pass the time...

i have been SWAMPED by japanese dramas recently.
2 reasons why Japanese Dramas are better than Taiwanese or Korean Dramas:

1. They're not long and draggy.(most of them are 10 episodes long at least/most)

2. They're HELL OF A LOT better to watch than they're taiwanese counterparts.(Hana Kimi being a FINE example)

they rock your socks:D

i finished Nobuta Wo Produce, which was equally touching and funny.
the bonds of friendship is just wonderful!
(i sound so pompous lol)

i have yet to finish Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, not forgetting Hana Yori dango of course.
1 more season, plus a movie that came out this year! gahhh.

i found this on Deviantart and it amused me in a really weird way.

i woke up this morning and i felt really weird, i was aching all over.
then in school there was a really long morning assembly where i had my eyes closed through all the boring parts.
i don't say i was sleeping because i was fully aware of what was happening at the moment.

after school me and shimin were supposed to go bowling with terence, joshua, weiqi and shih eng but there were no free lanes and the waiting list was LONG.
then we went to newyork newyork to eat.

walked around ehub for awhile then we walked to the playground since time was passing too slowly.
TERENCE MADE ME FALL OFF THE SEE-SAW!!
lol.

went back to school to collect our report books.
i passed combined science, yayy.
failed Emaths and combined humans, both E8, but i expected those anyways(:
the thought of becoming a Sec4 student taking O'levels next year...
i'm promoted to Secondary 4!!
OMGG.
time passes SO fast.

i need to get back to mdm tham about work.
hoorayy for moolah.
